Solutions to two common problems

If you have purchased Cocktails and the application won't start when you tap its icon:
Congratulations! You have encountered a common bug in OS X iPhone 2.0! To resolve this problem:

Note: upgrading your phone to OS X iPhone 2.0.1 or 2.0.2 should resolve this problem for both our app and others.

  1. hold down the top button on the device until the "slide to power off" control appears
  2. slide the power off control to the right and wait for the device to power down
  3. depress and hold the top button, again, until the screen lights up
  4. once your device finishes rebooting, you should have no further trouble running Cocktails

If the problem still persists, then simply delete the app from your device and retrieve a fresh copy from the App Store (you won't have to pay again, you'll simply re-download the software).

If you're having trouble figuring out how to change the measurement units to metric:

  1. press the home button
  2. tap the Settings icon on the home menu
  3. scroll down toward the bottom of the settings list and tap the item for "Cocktails"
  4. adjust the preferences as you like

When you return to Cocktails, your new preferences will be in effect.
